LIK Gallery exhibits contemporary art in photography, emphasising contemporary work of young artists and photography students within the context of historical and international art.
LIK Galerie ist a small private gallery that supports the young artists and students of photography and offers a first opportunity for these students to present their works publicly in a historical atmosphere in the center of Vienna and to gain their first experiences on the Austrian and international art market.
Operating as presentation gallery for five years, the organisation presented up to 30 exhibitions, becoming a place to be for photography students and young artists.
LIK Galerie is a private cultural facility operated by the LIK Akademie für Foto und Design, a private Academy of Photography based in Vienna.
12 photo exhibitions have been shown by LIK Gallery during 2017. Ten of these exhibitions in their own rooms at Spittelberg, one at the Photography Fair Photo & Adventure, Vienna 2017 and one at the Art Fair Malaga 2017. All photographic exhibitions presented contemporary photography.
Following international artists, such as Guillermo de Angelis (Argentina) and Maren Klemp (Norway) were present at the exhibition opening at the LIK Gallery in Vienna last year.

As a small independent private gallery of photography in Vienna, we were pleased to exhibit international artists in 2017, as well as being present abroad at the Art Fair Malaga. We are looking forward to many other exciting projects for the next Years.
Die LIK Gallery zeigt zeitgenössische Kunst in der Fotografie und betont die zeitgenössische Arbeit junger Künstler und Fotostudenten im Kontext historischer und internationaler Kunst.

Die LIK Galerie ist eine kleine Privatgalerie, die junge Künstler und Studenten der Fotografie unterstützt und diesen Studierenden eine erste Gelegenheit bietet, ihre Werke öffentlich in historischer Atmosphäre im Zentrum Wiens zu präsentieren und erste Erfahrungen zu sammeln. Auf dem österreichischen und internationalen Kunstmarkt.
Die LIK Galerie ist eine private Kultureinrichtung des LIK Vereins zur Förderung der internationalen Fotografie, Kunst und Bildung, die von der LIK Akademie für Foto und Design unter der Leitung von Nadja Gusenbauer betrieben wird.
Die historische Location des Spittelbergs in der unmittelbaren Nähe des Museumsquartiers ist ein inspiriendes Umfeld für die Galerie LIK
