Photographie ist für mich ein Wechselspiel von Regeln und Individualität, Zwang und völligem Loslassen, starren Strukturen und willenloser Hingabe. Der schmale Grat zwischen Präzision und Chaos ist es, der mich zu Höchstleistungen antreibt.

Die Kamera in meiner Hand bedeutet völlige Leere und Macht zugleich, die Freiheit liegt im Abgeben dieser Macht, im fallen und führen lassen. Photographie bringt mich zum Lachen und Weinen, sie zwingt mich zur Isolation und zum Ausbruch in neue Welten. Als Kurator fühle ich mich verpflichtet, dem Betrachter eben diese Gefühlswelt näherzubringen und ihm die Möglichkeit zu geben, sich mit mir fallen zu lassen.
